The Sony Radio Academy Awards
The Sony Radio Academy Awards, now in their 31st year, are without doubt the most prestigious awards in the radio industry’s calendar and the only event that brings the entire sector together to celebrate outstanding content and creativity.
2013 marks the second year that The Radio Academy has organised these awards and The Academy Trustees have worked closely with the Chairman of the Sony Radio Academy Awards to finalise the 2013 Categories & Rubrics, seeking to recognise and celebrate the very best of UK radio output, nationally, regionally and locally.
Along with the trustees, an organising committee has been put together to advise The Academy on the appointment of the 2013 judging panels and to decide on such issues as the recipients of the 2013 Special Awards and the shape of the 2013 event itself.
Members of this committee were drawn from across the industry and all the major commercial radio groups and BBC Networks were invited to select a representative to serve. Full details of the 2013 Committee are available HERE.

The NOMINATIONS will be announced on Wednesday 10th April 2013 via a live webcast from this site.
The WINNERS will be revealed on the evening of Monday, 13th May at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane.
