What the Judges Said
"This was exciting, witty and intelligent broadcasting for a contemporary audience.
The three hosts had a chemistry which is rare - with all 3 being strong presenters in their own right, but with a rapport which took the show from a format into something which had its own 'life' and energy.
The range of content was impressive - covering items as diverse as the London riots and 'A' Level advice through to 'what to wear on a first date' and 'how to behave at work parties' - always delivered in a way which connected. This was an intelligent programme, with great authenticity of voice perfect for its target audience.
Rickie, Melvin and Charlie produce radio which makes superb breakfast show listening - full of life, fun and energy...these three presenters don't just talk to their audience, they are their audience.
This is exciting breakfast radio at its best.

"The production and presenting skills shown within this show are of a very high standard. The change of pace, tone and texture throughout the show makes for a compelling and engaging listen. The presenting team's ability to change gear from one story to another is exceptional.
This is a great show - mixing news and sport effortlessly. It takes great skill to be able to carry a news agenda with authority while also being presenters with real personality and humour.
